Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded one new Covid-19 case Thursday involving a Philippine citizen, said the Ministry of Health.

The case was detected during a prison screening and among nine latest daily cases in Malaysia.

Six of the new cases were local transmissions and the remaining three came from the Philippines (in Pahang), India and Singapore.

Five of the new cases were Malaysians and the rest foreigners.
