Kota Kinabalu: Sabah registered one new locally transmitted Covid-19 case in Kota Belud on Tuesday, data from the Ministry of Health showed.

The case involving a Malaysian was detected in a pre-referral screening test at Kota Belud Hospital and was one of only two daily cases announced nationwide, the other recorded in Selangor.

Twenty more patients recovered, raising the tally of those discharged to 8,354 or 96.7 percent of all cases.
