KOTA KINABALU: Sabah registered one new local Covid-19 case in a Sandakan market on Monday, data from the Health Ministry showed.

The case was detected during a workplace screening exercise and was part of three daily cases announced nationwide.

The other two cases were in Selangor.

Sixteen more patients recovered, raising the total of discharged cases nationwide to 8,334 or 96.49 percent of all cases.
