KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has conducted a total of 7,173 Covid-19 tests as of March 31, from which it identified 209 positive cases.

Sabah Health director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi said the total number of patients who have recovered remained at 12 people.

“A total of 731 people are still placed in the 25 different quarantine centers statewide, and 66 people have been allowed to return home, ” she said in a statement late Wednesday (April 1).

Those under home quarantine number 7,717, with their close contacts totalling 6,512 people are still under healthcare watch and supervision.

“A total of 1,150 people have completed their 14-days home quarantine, ” Dr Rundi said.

As for inspections of premises, she said health authorities had checked on a total of 702 premises statewide with three in Sandakan instructed to cease operations.

The public are also reminded to observe the movement control order (MCO), maintain social distancing, be hygienic and to put on face masks when they have to go out.
