KOTA KINABALU: Healthcare experts from China will arrive in Sabah soon to assist in the State Government’s effort to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said these experts may operate from Universiti Malaysia Sabah where they can use the laboratories available there.

He said the Chinese experts will also assist in guiding the State's healthcare workers and other frontliners in dealing with the outbreak.

A ship from China carrying personal protective gears will also be arriving in the State on April 20, said Shafie, thanking China for the much-needed assistance.
