KUALA LUMPUR: A surau chairman has become Malaysia’s 11th Covid-19 death case, Health authorities have announced.

 

The announcement said patient #1,070 was a Malaysian and had a chronic medical history.

 

“He had a travel history to Indonesia in February. He had symptoms before being admitted to the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia on Mar 18.

“He tested positive on Mar 19 and was given breathing assistance in an intensive care unit. His health deteriorated day by day until he passed away on Mar 22 at 9.05pm.”
