This video viral on social media, established as genuine by Daily Express, shows some tabligh members returning from Indonesia on a boat escorted by marine police to Tawau where they were later isolated at a quarantine centre for Covid-19 screening.

They had gathered at an ijtimak or gathering in Gowa in South Sulawesi, that were cancelled by local authorities due to fears of a spread of the disease like the one that occured at a Kuala Lumpur mosque recently that had infected hundreds of attendees.

Earlier, Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said 83 Malaysians, who had gathered at the site of the cancelled Indonesian event, would be quarantined for two weeks when they returned home.
